Why You Are Seeing You Do Not Have Any Result Yet
JAMB earlier mentioned that the results of those who participated in examination malpractice during the JAMB examination will not be released.
This now means that those who truly know that they were involved in any sort of Examination Malpractice during the Exercise are not going to see their results.
What about those who did not engage in any Malpractice but are seeing No Result Yet?
Why Is My JAMB Result Not Yet Out?
This may happen if JAMB had withheld your Result for further Scrutiny to check if you were involved in any Exam malpractice or not after which the results will be released.
You Did Not Register on JAMB Portal
For those who are seeing you “You did not register” while trying to check their JAMB result on the JAMB portal.
This usually happens when you are using an incorrect JAMB registration number to check your JAMB result.
Possible Solution:
- Cross-check your JAMB registration number using your JAMB Registration printout to make sure you are checking it using the correct JAMB registration number.

The Joint Admissions and Matriculations Board (JAMB) is a Nigerian entrance examination board for tertiary-level institutions.
The board conducts entrance Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination for prospective undergraduates into Nigerian universities.
The board is also charged with the responsibility to administer similar examinations for applicants to Nigerian public and private monotechnics, polytechnics, and colleges of educations.
These candidates must have obtained the West Africa School Certificate, now West African Examinations Council, WAEC, or its equivalent, National Examination Council (Nigeria), NECO.
The pioneer Registrar was Mr. Michael Saidu Angulu who served from inception in 1978 to 1986.
The current registrar of Jamb is Professor Ishaq Oloyede who was appointed by president Muhammadu Buhari in August, 2016.
Every year, the Joint Admission and Matriculation Board conducts an examination that determines if a student will be admitted to higher education.
A record of over 2.1 million candidates registered for the 2023 examination.
The Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination is only valid for a year and with grade range between 0-400.
After the conduct of the year’s examination, the board sit and deliberate on the cut-off mark for universities, polytechnics and colleges of education, with some institutions requiring higher marks.
